I hope you guys are having a fabulous morning! I have a super easy recipe for you to try! I call it my holy 123 guacamole. Did you know that avocados are a serious super food? Yep. Avocados are packed with oleic acid, lutein, folate, Vitamin E, monounsaturated fats, and gluthathione. These not so easy to pronounce fatty acids can help protect your body from heart disease, cancer and degenerative eye disease. Also, Avocados taste great and can be used in anything from pudding to smoothies.
What you will need:
The amount of avocado you need depends upon how much dip you like. I like fresh avocado more than left over so I only peel what I plan on consuming that day. I only used one avocado.
You will need a large spoon
A mixing bowl
Ms. Dash seasoning or any seasoning blend (stay away from anything with salt or high amounts of sodium)! Try to enjoy the flavor of the avocado without piling on a bunch of salt.
Peel avocado and mash it up with your spoon. Here is a great link from YouTube on how to peel an avocado.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3N4Hyv6Iic. I tried it and was able to use all but the skin peeling from my avocado. It worked to perfection. Stir until it has the consistency of pudding. Add Ms. Dash seasoning and enjoy. I piled my guacamole on top of a bean, ground turkey and tomato burrito. It was super delicious! Peep the results below.
