Hello Ladies,
Apparently, I am one of the few people that didn’t know that a bit of fresh lemon juice under your arm pits can drastically reduce perspiration and body odor. I wanted to share this tip with you because whether we admit it or not we have all had those moments where the deodorant breaks down and we want to sheepishly hit that Southwest Airlines get away button. Anywho, a squirt or two of lemon juice might just be your savior. Here is why.... When you use lemon as deodorant, you are saturating your underarm Apocrine Glands with the acidic juices. Your Apocrine glands are the ones responsible for creating odor. Apocrine glands release secretions from inside the body. Bacteria is naturally attracted to these secretions before they leave your body.
When the bacteria release toxins and waste into these secretions, it gives the secretions a a not so fresh odor. By knowing how to use lemon as deodorant, you neutralize the bacteria in the secretions with the citric acid.
Lemon juice can be mixed with baking soda to make more of a 'powdery' texture which is easier to apply and dries quicker - the baking soda absorbs excess sweat or you can water down juice (with vinegar if you prefer) which has been strained through a cheesecloth and put it in a spray bottle to spray directly under arms.
Make sure the juice is completely dry before you put on your clothes as it may stain clothing or alter the color of the dye when it is subsequently washed.

Be cognizant of dryness or redness once you know how to use lemon as deodorant. Sometimes the citric acid might be too strong for your skin to handle.
Hope this helps!
Stay tuned til next time. Same bat time same bat channel.
